If you have a large number of companies and/or contacts that you want to add to your ABLE account, importing this data is quicker and more efficient than typing it all in by hand. Firm Administrators can import companies and contacts in bulk from the Firm Settings.
Access the Company and Contact Import

- From the 'My Firm' page, choose the Firm Settings button and then the 'Firm Import' tab.
- Download the template file to your computer. See below for an explanation of each of the fields
Things to Know
- In the field list below, the required fields for importing your companies and contacts are identified with an '*'. The more information that you provide, however, the better your data will be in ABLE.
- If a company does not have a contact, only populate the company fields for the row.
- If a company has more than one contact, each contact should be on it's own row and the company information should be included in each row.
- If a contact is an individual and does not have a company associated with them, only populate the contact fields for the row.
- Different contacts cannot have the same email address. If multiple contacts have the same email address, the import will use the name of the last contact row that contains the email.
- If a contact has more than one email address, they will be imported as separate contacts. ABLE does not currently handle multiple email addresses for one person.
