Profile Settings - Email Tab
After selecting the My Account icon on the top right corner of your screen and then 'My Profile', the second tab in your profile settings is the Email tab. This tab is where you can customize settings for sending to and receiving emails from ABLE.
1 Emailed Notes
Emailed Notes allows you to send email correspondence into the ABLE system where you can assign the message as a note to a client. Here is where you will create your 'Notes' email address, which is only used for this feature. To use Emailed Notes:
- Check the box next to 'Yes, enable adding notes by email.'
- Type your ABLE username (or another name unique to you) into the Notes Email Address field.
2 Email When Tagged
By checking this setting, you will immediately receive an email when you are tagged on a note, task or deal. The email will show where you were tagged along with the details.
3 Thought Leadership
The Thought Leadership feature allows you to send a piece of content out to your contacts, making it look like a one-to-one message from you. In order for ABLE to send a Thought Leadership email from your own email address, your firm's email domain must be verified, which usually happens during your firm's onboarding.
- If your domain has been verified, this section will note that your Thought Leadership messages will be sent from your email address.
- If your domain has not been verified, emails will be sent from the ABLE No-Reply account.
Either way, all replies to Thought Leadership emails go directly to your regular inbox.
4 Email Signature
The signature for your Thought Leadership and Survey emails can be customized to match what your contacts would see in a regular email from you. The email signature editor is a WSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor. You've likely seen one before, but if you haven't, you'll notice the icons are very similar to Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Use the icons in the style menu to change the font, size, color and alignment.

When you have made all necessary changes on this tab, click the green Save button to save your changes.
