15-30 Minutes a Week

In the little bit of time that you have in any given week to focus on business development activities, we encourage you to start to get the habit down of using ABLE on a consistent basis. Just 15 to 30 minutes a week in ABLE is our expectation, and if you're able to do that, you can see a transformation in your results when it comes to business development. So what do you do with that time?

Check Your Tiles

The first thing to do is check your client, prospect, and referral source tiles. As your major dashboards start to turn light green, yellow and then orange and red, schedule that major interaction with that person to get that dashboard back in the green.

Send Thought Leadership

Second, over the course of the week, as you come across good content as you're doing your professional reading, save it into the ABLE Thought Leadership module using the ABLE bookmarklet. When it's time to log in, pick one piece of content that you've saved, or you can grab something from the Content Library and share the article with the people who it's going to make sense to send it to.

Update Your Pipeline

Finally, go into your pipeline and update anything that has occurred over the past week. Maybe the probability of closing has gone up or the time frame has fallen behind. Whatever the case may be, update the deals with the new information. Always make sure there is a next-step task to be done and accomplish any tasks that are currently due for the deals that you're chasing.

All of this can easily be accomplished in 25 to 30 minutes a week. If you have the discipline to devote that time, we promise you at the end of the year, you'll look back and be amazed at what you've been able to accomplish when it comes to creating sustainable, profitable growth.
